AFK Farming Guide

It's no surprise that making vis while AFK-ing has it's upsides and downsides, so I'm gonna list all of the best spots I use and the pros and cons of each one of them. There might be some details or locations that I've missed out or are unaware of , so please do enlighten me in the comments so I can read it, test it out and update this guide accordingly.

General Tips for AFKing

Family Attributes Suggested:

5% HP Absorption, 50% ATK, 30% Attack Speed and the rest can be placed into either Monster ATK Damage or HP/Reduce Monster Damage, depending on your needs.

*HP Absorption is absolutely necessary to help you sustain while AFK.

Looting Pets:

  • Pigling
  • King of Greed
  • Phobitan Imp(This is my recommended Pet since it gives +10% EXP, Stance EXP and 10% Drop rate while looting)

Do not be afraid to ask your faction mates about what details which you are confused or require a second opinion about. If you do not have a faction, I highly recommend joining one.

Dr. Torsche's Mansion, Annex

This spot will always be the location in which I would recommend to newer players, it has high spawn rates, decent EXP and excellent equipment drop rate. This is also a decent place to train stances for characters at Veteran 4 up to Expert 3. The monsters of this map drops  Strange Clock Equipment, Strange Spring & Strange Cogwheel, which are used for Catherine Summoner's Expert Stance, Puppet Master, so they are consumables constantly sought after. I recommend AFK-ing in one of the square rooms located on the top, bottom and right side of the map.

Profitable Drops:

  • Lv80+ Equipment which can be sold to NPC for 80-250k vis each.
  • Strange Summon Misc

Pros:
  • You can train stances here while looting equipment/misc for vis
  • Mobs have relatively low health, so Cresemento Weapons with Lifeless stats are perfect here.

Cons:

  • Requires a lot of inventory space to fit all the equipment drops.
  • Viktors may spawn in your AFK spot if you are unlucky but if your armor is decent enough, he wouldn't be a threat.
  • Over selling the Strange Misc will result in crashing the market if there are too many people selling it at once, so sell sparingly and try to mix it up by going to some other maps.

Resistance Hideout

Also one of my favorite spots, however it is not recommended for new players with weak armor and low Family levels. The EXP rate here is not bad if you kill the mobs fast enough. Monsters drop 10k Vis Bags, Essences(Pure, Dark & Balance) and Brestia Boxes. This is also a really good place to be actively hunting the bosses if you are well equipped with Human weapons. The Bosses spawn according to the rate in which monsters are killed by everyone in the map, usually around 25-35 minutes, the Bosses will drop 100k, 1m and 10m Vis Bags(*10m Vis Bags are rare), Brestia Boxes and Brestia Officer Boxes and some Artifact items such as Devil's Heart and Moonstone etc.

(Note: Artifacts are quite rare drops from Bosses)
(Second Note: An announcement will be given to the whole map area when the bosses do spawn, so keep an eye out for them if you are gonna be hunting them down. There are two bosses that spawn, one huge guy with a Cannon weapon and another guy with two Sabres, so they are easily spotted running about.)

Profitable Drops:

  • 10K Vis Bags which can be exchanged for 100k Vis Bags and so on.
  • Essences
  • Brestia Boxes which drops 100k Vis Bags, Brestia Officer Boxes and Essences at a random rate.
  • *Brestia Officer Boxes have a chance of give 100k Vis Bags x 10, Essences or General Boxes which give Brestia Weapons
Pros:
  • Cresemento Weapons can be used if the character wielding them is strong while AFKing, though I would recommend a minimum of 32ar Human weapons if your family level is low.
Cons:
  • Monsters do not drop any equipment
  • Bosses might spawn in your area while you are AFK and if your armor is not good enough, they might kill you before the people hunting them arrives to kill them.
  • The map is highly populated on weekend nights which would result in difficulty in finding a good spot since there is only one channel for this map.
  • When hunting Bosses, there is a high chance someone else would also be hunting them as well and when it comes to that, it will be a first come, first serve basis.

Byron, Crow Forest

An excellent map to farm Devil's Dream which is used to craft Strata Devil weapons. Good place to be training stances or levels of characters leveled Expert 3 to Master 10. Stance exp is decent for High Masters too however I strictly recommend not promoting your characters to HM before maxing out all of their desired stances.

Profitable Drops:
  • Monsters drop lv 100 Equipment
  • Devil's Dream
  • Miscellaneous drops such as High Quality Wood and Soft Cotton Yarn etc. which could be sold in Market.

Pros & Cons:
  • Cresemento Weapons work here but you will want to have either Undead+Daemon racial stats enchanted into your weapons or have your characters split the racials apart. I recommend to have 1 character with high damage on a Daemon weapon to kill off the Elite Greeds that spawn while the other 2 are on Undead. Best case scenario would be to equip your characters with both Undead+Daemon stats on each weapon to increase efficiency.
  • The map is huge however the amount of good spots to AFK in is numbered in only 3-4 places.
  • Elite Greeds spawn randomly and may be a nuisance if you do not own good armor. They don't have strong attacks however their skills can knock back and deal a lot of damage since you are unbuffed.

Ancient Territory, Castilla

Not much to say about this map, it's a Premium Map, so the mobs are weak and the spawn rates are high. Decent EXP and Stance EXP. Able to enter if you have Returnee Buff, Home Premium Service(HPS) or Ancient Territory Pass.

Profitable Drops:
  • Monsters drop lv 80+ Equipment which can be sold to NPC for Vis.
  • Monsters also drop Kryptonite which is used for Alchemy & Veronif Dairy daily quest which have low supply and high demand in the market.
Pros:
  • Cresemento Weapons are excellent here since the monsters have low HP.
  • Doesn't require decent armor because the monsters themselves do not deal a lot of damage.
Cons:
  • It is a Premium Dungeon, so it requires a buff in order to enter.

*More maps and updates will be added at a later date.

Daily Missions Guide (Solo)

Daily Missions for profit and crafting

Individual missions at Coimbra Nimrod Bridge

Individual missions located at Coimbra Nimrod Bridge at all channels. Daily Entry, Solo Only, MCC3, Rank 2-5. Able to enter twice daily if Home Premium Service is activated. Shiny Crystals are consumed upon entry, amount varies according to the missions.

Possibility to get +10 Stat Earring Recipes from all missions.

Notes:

All AR/DR Requirements are with buffs like Enhanced Tactics and other AR increasing buffs that your characters have.

Rewards are all possible drops/roulette(not 100%) and there may be some items I've neglected to list because they were not worth mentioning.(You can view all item drops of the missions in game on Information Center(Ctrl+M) under Missions Tab)

Tip: It would be useful to save a warp near the statue and soldiers at Nimrod Bridge and warp out immediately after completing the roulette to save time.

Hell Breaker(Rank 2)

Don't bother doing it. Rewards aren't worth the time invested into it

Rafflesia(Rank 3)

Difficulty (1/10),

Equipment suggestion: Wildlife. 61 AR or above.

Tips: Pick up the items dropped by the mobs inside just in case you do not kill the boss in 2-3 hits/skills. AOE skills can 1HKO you if you do not have the buff from the items.

Note: There are 3 parts of Rafflesia's Boss which you have to kill, one which is Airborne. The Legs, Torso(Airborne) and Egg.

Characters suggested: Heavy Ranged DPS or AOE(Elementalist, Cherlyn, Musketeers etc.)+ET.

Rewards: 92 Chips and some Elite 92/Lv.100 Weapons/Armor from Roulette. Runes. ASO/Constellation Boxes

Vergo the Cursed (Rank 3)

Difficulty (0.75/10)

Equipment suggestion: Human/Any high attack weapon 60 ar or above(boss has rather low health)

Tips: None. Relatively easy, just kill Vergo. He has weak attacks and barely any knock-backs.

Characters suggested: Any DPS charracters+ET.

Rewards: Same as Rafflesia.

  • Lava Leaf(Rank 2)

Difficulty (1/10)

Equipment suggestion: Lifeless/High attack weapons .61 AR or above

Tips: Activate the first summoning tower then walk forward towards the other end to activate another tower in order to summon Lava Leaf. When attacking Lava Leaf, there is a chance he will teleport your characters to another location and stun you which is relatively no threat but it is still annoying.

Characters suggested: Any DPS+ET

Rewards: Same as Rafflesia but Lv 96 Chips instead of Lv. 100.

Griffon(Rank 3)

Difficulty (2.5/10)

Equipment requirement: Wildlife 69 AR or above.

Tips: Pretty simple, just kill the Griffon. He spawns next to the wall where you start.(not towards the big map, turn camera to high ground)

Characters suggested: Any DPS+ET

Rewards: Lv 100 chips, e92/e96/lv.100 Weapons/Armor. Runes. ASO/Constellation/Shiny Boxes.

Uraeus(Rank 4)

Difficulty (2.5/10)

Equipment suggestion: Wildlife 64 AR or above.

Tips: Kill all the Eggs to spawn Uraeus. You will want to lower Uraeus to about 50-35% HP before quickly bursting him to death. If he does not get killed during first cycle, you will have to kill all the eggs that will spawn again to get him out of the water.

Characters suggested: Ranged DPS with Burst+ET

Rewards: Veteran chips, e92/e96/lv.100 Weapons/Armor. ASO/Constellation/Shiny Boxes.

Chrysalis(Rank 4)

Difficulty (5/10)

Equipment suggestion: Daemon 70 AR or above

Tips: Run towards the halfway point, when you see blades in front of you at D3 on the map, turn towards the stairs on the right or left and climb over to pass through the blades. Kill Gerero located after the overpass and that will spawn Chrysalis. Avoid Chrysalis AOE as it 1HKO's you no matter what but it has a long cast time. You might want to kill all the Grim Reapers following you before engaging either Gerero or Chrysalis because they tend to knock back your characters a lot.

1HKO AOE Skill Range of Chrysalis

Characters suggested: High DPS characters+ET(*an ET with First Aid is preferable), 1 Melee to tank Gerero as he does deal a somewhat substantial amount damage.

Rewards: Same as Uraeus

  • Individual Lucifer Garden/Basement(Rank 5)

Difficulty (7/10)

More info to be added later. Relatively hard to do unless you have a tank. When entering these missions, the missions will be chosen at random.

Garden: Demonic Jurgen, Mantra, Abremon and Sauterelle. (1 out of 4 chances)

Basement: Death Wraith and Cortes (50/50)

Equipment suggestion: 74ar or above with all Racials except human.
Characters suggested: Sirius+DPS+ET.(It is recommended to try it out with a tank first then swap off to a melee DPSer when you feel comfortable and confident after a few tries, assuming your armor is decent enough to survive the hits.)

Rewards: Magical Roses/Oblivious Doll Spring(Artifact materials), SD Materials(According to which boss/mission you're against), 29-30dr Armor, Energy of Montoro(used to exchange for SD recipes at Lucifer Entrance)

Garden raids

All Garden bosses are Wildlife and have low resistances to Fire so characters like Fire Bracelet Elementalists or Cherlyns are advisable. A Sirius would be neccessary if your Elem has a weak armor.

Demonic Jurgen(Wildlife): Have your tank bring him towards the edge of the walls and have your DPS wail on him from the side. He has 2 AOE skils, one small and one large. He makes the Gimlets charge towards the character he has aggro on. Makes sure your Wildlife DPSer has high AOE to clear those monsters(Example: Elementalist).

Mantra(Wildlife): Tank with Sirius and have your DPSer hit from a distance. It has an AOE skill so be sure your Sirius is parallel to your DPS with Mantra in between. It will spawn spores that attack and can cause knock-backs quite consistently and after awhile, it will absorb those spores to heal itself. Try to kill just a few spores so it doesn't heal too much but if it's HP is low and it's bar is not full, just go for the kill.

Arbremon: No info yet

Sauterelle(Wildlife): He summons Bees that drop Royal Jelly that gives a buff to resist his magic damage, without them you will take a significant amount of damage. He has a small AOE skill that knocks back, so make sure you hug a wall with your tanker. He teleports every time his HP drops by 20-25%, it is very annoying to find him, so it would be advisable to just normal attack him during the times that he is about to teleport so your characters can track him as he teleports. Only the highlighted area in yellow on the map below is accessible for both you and Sauterelle.

Basement raids

Deathwraith(Lifeless Minibosses+Undead Bosses x3): I skip this whenever I am short on time. It is utterly bullshit but it is possible with the right DPS and mindset. Kill the 3 Lifeless Takions in the middle to spawn one of the three Deathwraiths and after you kill one of them, 3 more Takions will spawn, rinse and repeat. Each Deathwraith has their own element, being Fire, Ice and Lightning. The Bosses have heavy debuff attacks according to their element, large ass AOEs and stupidly teleports you randomly outside of the circle, becareful of your squishies being hit with their attacks as you re-enter the circle after being teleported out.

Cortes: No info yet

Tower of Chaos(Solo Boss drop run)

Location: Castilla Temple.

Difficulty:(3 to 8/10)(varies according to how well you are equipped and how far you are able to go)

Equipment suggestion: Minimum of 70+ ar/dr. Daemon and Lifeless.

Characters suggested: Any high DPS with relatively good armor and defense+ET.

Tips: Very straight forward, just kill all the bosses for their drops until you die at first. When you have an understanding of which boss you can do and which ones are out of your league, your daily runs will go much smoother as you gain experience. It will take you a few tries on certain bosses until you get the hang of it. Be wary of certain bosses that can inflict shock such as Dominator and Einsheiver etc. So expect to die if your lesser defensive characters do get shocked and attacked. Buff with Spiritual Shield(Potion or skill) for Debuff RES to increase your chances of not being shocked. More info and tips will be added later.

Rewards: Roulette gives Shiny/ASO/Constellation Boxes. Bosses drops give a lot of Veteran/Lv.100 chips and some Moon stones(if lucky).
